Research in Horticulture

Research at Reading continues to provide a consistent flow of relevant information and new ideas to the industry. We were involved in some of the early work on the impacts of climate change and remain leaders in this field. In recent years we have pioneered and championed the use of spectral filters and ushered in a new generation of crop forecasting techniques with the grower, rather than the scientist, in mind.
